Magne Furuholmen - In Transit
Edited by Stephanie von Spreter. Text by Ute Meta Bauer, Selene Wendt, Richard Dyer, Octavio Zaya, Henning Kramer Dahl. Photographs by Lars Gundersen. Published by Forlaget Press
Pop music fans know him as the guitarist and keyboardist of the chart-topping 1980s band a-ha, but Magne Furuholmen (born 1962) has been working as a visual artist for decades, in painting, ceramics, printmaking, film and installation. All of his works suggest roughly drawn visual poems in dismantled letter shapes.

Thanks again to 'hermetic', the book is now listed on the Press website with this brief description (per Google Translate, which we all know is hit or miss, so take from it what you will):
"Magne Furuholmen has succeeded in the difficult transformation from pop star to an artist with an international scope. The Danish photographer Lars Gundersen has followed him from the first pictures for almost 20 years ago, to the spectacular projects he unfolds today. The book is the first synoptic presentation of his activities as an artist and brings us close to the creative process. At the same time offering this wonderful book on all the major works, Furuhomen's Greatest Hits. In transit shows why Magne F. - as he often called out of Norway - has become one of our most prominent international artists."
